Our Choice: The Unavoidable or the Inescapable

A Monday Globe & Mail headline referred to proposals of the Ontario Government to reduce GHG emissions as a “Sea Change”. Yes, these proposals will have quite an impact on Ontario residents.  And they are unavoidable !! . . .   if Ontario is going to play its part in contributing to Canada’s emission targets.

Don’t be fooled.  These are constructive steps that reduce the threat of climate change, which – if we don’t take these steps – will be inescapble. Go to our video:  “The Inescapable Before us”.

Just before the Globe published this news US NASA released  global temperature figures that disclosed

  • Last month was the hottest April ever, smashing the previous record for April by the largest margin ever recorded.

  • Last February and March were decisively the hottest ever

  • Scientists considered that the February record  pointed to a “climate emergency”.  They project that 2016 will be the hottest year on record and probably by the largest margin ever.

The Guardian commented on NASA’s figures under the caption: April breaks global temperature record, marking seven months of new highs!
