Why Diversity is an Asset to the Climate Movement – Dr. Anne Pasek (May 8, 2023)

By Scott McKinlay

Dr. Anne Pasek is an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in Media, Culture, and the Environment at Trent University.  In this presentation she explores how climate opinion, and engagement in climate action, varies across communities based on race, gender, class, age, partisan affiliations, geography, and religion.  Dr. Pasek outlines the strategic value of diversifying the climate movement, and presents several potential strategies that groups, like 4RG, can use towards this end.
