Peace and Climate Change are very closely connected. Both are threats to our very existence, and the greenhouse gases from military operations is a significant percentage of global emissions.
The Peterborough Peace Council, Canadian Voice of Women for Peace and co-sponsors–including 4RG–will be featuring Kasha Sequoia Slavner and her mother, Marla Slavner.
To celebrate Mother’s Day, they will tell the story of their journey to make Kasha’s first documentary at the age of 16, then discuss her new film currently in production, 1.5 Degrees of Peace.
